Gerard Keane – Managing Director
Gerard Keane is Managing Director of Newcourt Pensioneer Trustees Limited and has over 25 years experience in the pensions industry. In addition to this role, he is Managing Director of Newcourt Pensioneer Trustees since 2007. He is a Revenue approved Pensioneer Trustee and holds a Qualified Financial Advisor Diploma (QFA).
Gerard was elected Chairman of The Association of Pensioneer Trustees in Ireland (APTI) for the period July 2010 to July 2012, having previously held the position of Treasurer for the Association. He is actively engaged with legislative submissions/changes relating to all areas of pensions law and regulation, having regular contact with the Central Bank, Pensions Board and Revenue Commissioners.
Danny McGill – Director
Danny joined Newcourt Pensioneer Trustees Limited in February 2012 and has worked in the pensions industry for over 15 years. During this time, Danny has developed extensive technical expertise in all areas of pension planning.
Danny holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). Danny has recently obtained the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Danny is one of a relatively small number of CFP professionals operating in Ireland at present. He holds a Certificate in Pensions and Applied Trusteeship from the Law Society of Ireland and is also a Revenue approved Pensioneer Trustee.
Brian Macdonald, Director of Operations
Brian is Director of Operations at Newcourt. He has extensive experience in the life and pensions industry spanning over 25 years, having worked both in Ireland and the UK in various life and pensions technical roles. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is also Licentiate of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland.
Prior to joining Newcourt, Brian was the Life and Pensions Technical Support Manager for New Ireland Assurance. Brian is vice chairman of the pensions working group of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI) and sits on the DC Committee of the Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF). He was previously chairman of Insurance Ireland’s Pensions Committee.
